St Peter's Arts Centre is centrally located in Preston but Preston isn't really geared up to tourists and there is not a wide choice of accomodation, especially around the venue. However there are a few and links are below along with a link to the Preston Tourist Information website and some additional 'local' information.
This is on the outskirts of the centre, approx one / one and a half miles away. Due to distance a taxi is advised especially when leaving the venue.
On the same road as the above only a little further away from the centre.
Holiday Inn. This is likely to be more expensive but has a central location and is fairly close to the venue.

Only know this by name and having only drunk a few pints in the pub below, have no idea of the quality of it's rooms though imagine them to be basic. You will have to contact them for rates. This is however right across the road from the train station, close to the venue and has the most central location.
For those arriving by car. Located at the M6/M55 motorway junction but a fair distance from anywhere. This is a generic motorway motel type place that is not near the centre and only advised for those with a car. Approx 3 miles away from the venue.
Preston tourist information site. Has information on some of the above hotels and a few other places.
Local information:
When looking for information about accomodation in Preston you are likely to come across some cheap lodgings and B&B's on and around Fishergate Hill. Accomodation here is generally of a very low standard and the area is not good. Strongest advice is not to be tempted and to avoid any establishment in this area.
Black cabs are likely to be available outside the venue due the close proximity of the Students Union but there is a also taxi rank around the corner from the venue. You come out of the venue main entrance turn left, walk to the crossroads and you will see a pub in front of you on the corner and also a few takeaways. Turn right and it's on your left across from 'The Adelphi' pub beer garden.
Feeling hungry? Head for Friargate which is over the big roundabout near the venue. From the position above, walk to the end of the road (with 'The Adelphi' on the righthand corner) and directly across the roundabout. Many cheap 'late night' eating establishments, also pubs and clubs if you fancy going on into the wee small hours.
